Shrimp Fishing
by Luchonda
A more than tradition at the belgian coastside - fishing on shrimps - with belgian horses - not seven horses in the sky - but in the sea !
(lol - hit of a famous belgian group called "The Pebbles" in the sixties- a sign to Wal - in NZ :-)) ...
Wooden State Dunes
by RoyJava
The holiday-house of our friends is just located next to the remarkable dunes (see in the background on pic). It is its natural habitat with mainly pine-trees, except for its paths that have been laid out for visitors. If you do love nature explore the reserves "De Kijk-uit" (Watch) and "De Zandpanne" (Sand Place). We always enjoyed the little holidays over there ...
Lovely little sea town.
by funkymama
De Haan is centrally situated at the Belgian coast only 20 km away from the magnificent town of Brugge and the rural village of Damme. Hospitality, friendliness and healthy recreation are the main assets of our holiday centres: fireworks, cultural open-air events, folkloristic happenings, promenade concerts, jazz sessions add something special to your holiday.
The sea, the beach, the dunes and just behind them a wood for 157 ha, it is unique at the North Sea.
From VOSSESLAG to HARENDIJKE is situated a sandy beach that covers almost one fifth of the Belgian coast.
