Very very nice!
Ah, I really love this hotel. For a couple of years I tried to find an occasion to stay here, and then finally in 2007 we spent a night here for my wife's birthday. It's gorgeous! The room was very nice with really a lot of charm, as were the entrance hall, the lobby, the breakfast room, ... the entire building.
My wife's in the hotel business and it doesn't happen a lot that she says that the room was cleaned good. But here she did, so it was definitely spot clean.
It was a luxurious and relaxing stay for us, and we hope to come back in the summer, because the garden also looked really nice.
Unique Quality: Small things that made our stay extra nice were: the drink offered when we arrived (we chose a champagne and a port wine), the wide range of DVD's that you can choose from to watch in the room for free, and the completely relaxing atmosphere from the hotel.
Apparently the restaurant (Pegasus) which is part of the hotel is very very good, but it was closed when we were there.
It's not cheap to stay here, but it's cheaper if you don't go in the weekend or on and before a bank holiday.
