President Centre Hotel
by ElaineheadI got to the hotel without making any reservation. I asked if they had a free room for one night and one of the receptionists asked if I had already stayed before in the hotel. I said no and that I got to know the hotel on the internet. She asked how much the room rate was on the internet site and she charged the room with the internet rate (single room: 89 Euros, all taxes and breakfast included). If I remember well, the normal rate is 122 Euros.
I was afraid I'd paid for more, but no. Uff!!!
I had the room 409, which faced Rue Royale. The room and bathroom were both clean but I was a bit disappointed with the decoration. This room definitely has to be refurbished. Oh and I thought the mattress was a bit uncomfortable.
I would definitely come back to this hotel mostly because I have never been treated so well than here.
GREAT staff, Mini-bar (not electronic, so I could put inside my own food and drinks), free breakfast, trousers press, TV with at least 39 channels, spacious room (for European standards), alarm clock...
