I would recommend this hotel for many reasons. One, I found a good rate on booking.com (75 euro), the rooms are not spacious but large enough and it has a kitchen unit with microwave, fridge, tiny dishwasher, toaster, water cooker and utensils etc. to make a modest meal or breakfast.
There are many electrical sockets which is a pro since often hotel rooms lack this abundance.
The hotel is not romantic in any way, it's more a business hotel. The staff are professional and friendly. However, for a city trip, I still find it very good because you can find all the romance (restaurants, little parks and the Grand Place) just outside the hotel.
Oops. I forgot to make photos but I assure you that the photos on websites are accurate. So here's just one of the square just outside the hotel. On the back there is a courtyard with no traffic.
Unique Quality: The hotel is conveniently central in Brussels, it's a 10 minute walk to the Grand Place, for instance and the metro is right on your doorstep. Two stops (to Brussels central station) and a 10 minute walk brings you to the museum area.
I discovered a place about 40 metres down the street where you can have breakfast (egg, bacon, juice, toast) for only 5 euro so I would skip the hotel breakfast (14 euro).
The hotel has free wifi for up to 4 devices per room. Their wifi is fast so that makes this a definite pro.
