Brussel's amazing hotel, wonderful vacation

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, we had a wonderful experience. The suite was amazing, very spacious, clean, luxurious with everything availabe in it, and the room was serviced everyday. we thought it was a bargain for the price we payed per night (90 euros), because we estimated that the quality of the suite and the service is worth about 200 euros per night!!

the location is fantastic, we used to walk in the morning to the city centre or the Grand Place and then take a taxi back to the hotel if we were tired, the walking distance is about 15 to 20 minutes, and the views on the way are really nice. the taxi costs anywhere between 7-14 euros depending on the time and the place where we take it.
we didn't book the room with breakfast, but we ordered a continental breakfast to the room once which was really very nice and it only costed 16 euros, or you can have breakfast at a nice cafe in Luxembourgh square where they serve all kinds of croissant, bread and cakes.

Food in Belgium is excellent, there are so many nice places to eat. because I'm a vegetarian, I was worried that I wouldn't find many options, but on the contrary I found so many delicious choices, also my husband who is not a vegetraian loved the food there. the places that we liked the most are Arcadi Cafe which has wonderful quiche and pasta dishes, the address is 1b, rue d'Arenberg at 1000 Brussels near Central Station, Grand'Place, St. Gudule church, Galeries du Roi, the galerie is also wonderful because you find all kinds of chocolat shops in it with lots of restaurants and cafes.
the other place is La Creperie where they serve all kinds of wonderful savoury and sweet crepes, Area: Sablon
Address: rue haute, 35
1000 Brussels
Website: www.lacreperie.be
Opening hours: Everyday: 11-23
the Sablon area is considered the posh area in Brussels.

Also the place that we loved is a tex mex reataurant called chi chi's, they have gorgeous Fahitas, Address: Boulevard Anspach, 5
1000 Brussels
Website: chichis.be

of course the Grand Place is beautiful to see, and walking in the small streets surounding it and seeing and tasting all different kinds of chocolate is essential!

we went to the chocolate museum which is just a few minutes from the Grand Place, it was nice, not what we were expecting but a nice experience.

going to Bruge is a must do when you visit Belgium, it's as beautiful as Venice and make sure you take a canal tour in the boat, we only went for the day and came back to Brussels in the evening which was very convenient, the Markt square is very nice.

overall, this trip was more than we hoped for, and if we had the chance in the future, we would defenitely go back there and stay in the same hotel.

Unique Quality: great location, wonderful large rooms

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
