Brussels on Grand'Place
I am living near Brussels and visited the rooms lwith view on that beatiful Grand'Place.
Price for a double room is 150 euros

Excellent location, good value
A friend who lives in Brussels recommended this hotel and it was an excellent choice. It is only rated as a two star hotel so don’t expect any frills, but the location can’t be beaten – actually on the Grand Place itself. And although it’s quite basic in terms of amenities, what it does have is more than adequate: a comfortable bed with clean bed-linen, a good-sized bathroom, a small TV and a breakfast buffet (included in the price).
Talking of price, this varies considerably depending on whether you request a room at the back or at the front. The latter will have an excellent view of the Grand Place but you’ll pay for it. Currently a double room at the back costs 99 EUR (with that good breakfast) and at the front 133 EUR. That’s an expensive view and one we decided we could manage without, especially as we suspected the rooms at the front would also be quite noisy. Certainly our back room couldn’t be faulted on that count as it was very peaceful indeed.

Brussels Best Kept Secret
Stayed in this hotel in Oct. 2004. We took a chance because there wasn't a rating on it anywhere-------our chance paid off. It is the ONLY hotel directly on Grand Place. The room in the back do not have a view but it was a decent sized room, clean and the hotel gives a voucher to use at a place across the square------meat, cheese, bread, coffee, hot, chocolate, tea---very yummy! We saw the front rooms and they were great----however there are only 15 room in this hotel and these go fast. We paid about 95 euro for the room on the back---the front rooms are a little more. The staff were unbelievably nice and willing to offer information on whatever we requested.

A room with a view...
Well, I've never seen it but I just learnt that it is possible to book a room with a view on beautiful Grand-Place de Bruxelles. For this specific reason, I put it here even without having tested it.
It seems to be a well-kept secret in Brussels. Now I share it with you... There are 15 rooms in this hotel. Among them, 7 are with the view.
It is located in Maison des Ducs du Brabant.
Rooms with a view on Grand-Place :
Suite single : 113 EUR/night
Suite double: 134 EUR/night
Room (+/- 35 m2) single : 105 EUR/night
Room (+/- 35 m2) double: 126 EUR/night
Bathroom, toilet, mini-bar, telephone and TV included.
Rooms without the view, less of interest, are cheaper, off course.
Call now!! It's yours! 2004 is the next summer there will be flower carpet on Grand-Place... In winter, the place is charming as well...
