Location, Location, Location

I arrived early in the day and checked in and left my bags. The staff where most helpful and friendly.

Sting in the tail - breakfast is an additional €15.00 pp for Continential and €25.00 pp for American Breakfast.

an excellent hotel in an excellent location

This is a top-notch hotel located almost in the dead-centre of Brussel's tourist attractions and just across the road from Central Station. The rooms are modern, large, sound proofed, have very comfortable large beds, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The service is excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and I would stay there again.

great value

I've stayed here many times over the years, mostly on business but a couple of times as a tourist.

The rooms are excellent and so is the food (although not cheap obviously). It has a good bar with a friendly atmosphere.

For me its the ideal combination of a good quality facility in a super location. I've managed the trip from plane to room in as little as 40 minutes. You have many of the Brussels sights and restaurants just on your doorstep, and if your business is elsewhere you have the metro and trams just across the street.

Highly recommended (especially if someone else is paying!)

Unique Quality: Quality and location.

Big discounts at weekends!!!

Hotel close to the action

Pleasant one night stay on our whirlwind tour.

Unique Quality: Located a two minute walk away from the Grand Place. Close enough to make it easy to get to but far enough away to avoid the noise.

Handy location & excellent quality

We got a special rate on expedia for a fraction of the rack rate and it is next to the central station and a stones throw from Grand Place.

It was VERY hot during our stay and the aircon was very good and quiet, and the room very spacious with a HUGE bed which was nice and firm unlike many hotel beds.

The bathroom was marble throughout and very spacious and the communal areas were very palacious.

We did not eat at the hotel as we prefer local restaurants when on holiday and the prices were aimed at business folk most likely.

Very nice hotel

Only stayed here one night but I was very impressed. Located just across from the train station. Modern hotel but very nicely furnished with extremely large rooms and bathrooms. Easy to explore the city from this location.

Unique Quality: Locaton, facilities

Le Meridien, Brussels

There are weekend specials listed on the hotel Web site. You may also b able to find good rates on the popular Web travel sites.

Unique Quality: Perfect location for tourists, especially if you plan on taking day-trips to other towns by rail. The hotel is about 5 years old, yet they just renovated most of their guest rooms. Rooms are typical European size, which may seem smaller than 'normal' to people from the US. A very comfortable hotel though, and very tastefully decorated.

More about Le Meridien Brussels

Great location

by A TripAdvisor Member

We just spent 4 days in Belgium we stayed in le meridien brussels. I have to say this is one of the best locations in Brussels. It is directly across from central station where you can get trains to anywhere. The sight seeing tours start from your door step and you are only a few steps away from Grand Place and shopping etc. Rooms are really nice and staff very friendly. Breakfast not included so can't rate food. It is really a good place to stay if you need to walk alone anywhere because it is so safe. Really enjoyed Brussels. We travelled from there to Brugge for one night. Don't recommend it - is is nice place but Brussels just as nice and not such a rip off. Everything in Brugge is over priced especially hotels for standards.

Superb location! Great value for money!

Stayed here in August. Got a great deal on Meridien website for only €99 per night per room. Room fairly small but otherwise clean and comfortable. Opposite main railway station (only a few € to get from airport). Minutes from the Grand Place. Only gripe would be that hotel has no pool! Otherwise, good value!
