Good Rates & a quiet location
Brussels is busy with business travellers weekdays, we went Thursday to Monday when hotel rates are much lower. We booked the whole trip i.e. flights and hotel through Dial a Flight a company I use often - they usually choose your hotel and this was a good choice. The Louise district is about 2 km outside the main city with little traffic at night ensuring a good nights sleep. Breakfast was included in the room rate they serve a continental breakfast with a good choice of cereals - breads - rolls - cold cuts - cheeses and fresh fruit. If you want a hot breakfast you can pay extra. the public rooms are small but well furnished and comfortable. There is a restaurant for dinner - we only used it once but it was nothing to write home about. Our room was very comfortable with the usual facilities on the plus side they did have a good and useful selection of free toiletries including a pocket sized hairbrush.
Unique Quality: The hotel has a small gym but we didn't use it = we had enough exercise walking the city. The staff where curtious and polite especially the reception staff who were always keen to answer questions and provide free snacks such as apples - sweets and little Easter eggs = a nice touch I thought. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

A really good one...
Located near Louisa Underground, and pretty close to most of the sight seeing places. The Trams stop 50 mtrs outside the hotel, and underground metro is 500 mtrs walking.
Hotel is very good and ppl are friendly. They serve breakfast.
It is easier to go around places in brussels, from this location. Very Nice Hotel and good facilities. Convenient to reach the Airport as well.

i will be in brussels in the weekend 23 - 24 october. acutally i am looking for a hotel. i don't want to pay more than 50 - 70 euros per night. any recommendations (possibly with www-page).

It's a good thing it's a week-end as the prices are lower. If you go to expedia.com, Hotel Chambord (2 stars) has a special at 44 euros.
I would recommend you enquire about Hotel Welcome. It's a small hotel that's got quite a following. All their rooms are decorated according to a different country of the world. It's quite neat. Their price starts at 85 Euros but you might want to call or E-mail them. (www.hotelwelcome.com)
