Novotel Brussels Airport

I stayed at this hotel for a 3-day training in Brussels in January 2005. The office was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel away, so it was very functional to be there. However the downside of that was that I didn't see anything of the city on that trip.

The hotel itself is made for business travellers not only because of its location, but also the facilities they give you are very much business oriented.

For that purpose it is an excellent hotel, but if you want to visit Brussels, I'd rather recommend staying somewhere in the city.

Unique Quality: All the facilities you'd need as a business traveller.

Directions: 5 minutes drive from the airport terminal (There is a free Pick-and-drop service from the airport every 30 minutes)

I had a transfer night in Brussels; was planning to go into the city but got so tired that chose to go to the hotel right from the airport on a VT member advice – and did not regret it!
The hotel is very friendly, cannot remember anything annoying. The airport shuttle is on time, easily located (although the airport as such could have been more ergonomic), the drivers polite and efficient, the ride to the hotel about 15 minutes.

Rooms spacious and clean
Bathroom with a creative design, shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer – all functions well
Bathroom and toilet separate – a bit unusual, but may be useful when you are two and in a hurry
One thing left me a bit perplexed - one cannot open the windows; shame indeed as the air outdoors seems to be quite breathable

Free Wi-Fi in the room (but connected – charged)
Free TV channels (at least 20) in at least 10 languages
A small kettle and a set of tea bags and instant coffee & creamer in the room
What's more important - everything works!

Breakfast included - and starts at 5 a.m.! The exquisite coffee pot and the likewise lovely milk pot – served individually to every customer, it will really make your day!
