More about Pacific Cafe Hotel
Wonderful stay

Excellent modern room. The bathroom was quite unique but very functional and very nice. Everything was very clean and upclass. The staff were quite friendly and quite helpful when needed... The attached restaurant was also very tasty though we couldn't get to have any coffee at night... breakfast, however, was standard brussels breakfast minus the hardboiled egg (extra). Overall, there are more inexpensive places to stay, but the location felt very unobtrusive and felt like we were part of the city. Our specific view was of the back, not very exciting, but offered a view of the distant city.
Excellent room and location!

This hotel is discreetly tucked away on one of Brussels' premier shopping streets, and has the feel of an expensive hostel rather than a full-blown hotel, as the lobby is cramped and informal. But the rooms are very sizeable (for Brussels), the decor is contemporary, and the glass-walled bathrooms are very well equipped. The room also had numerous windows that looked out to the street opposite, so it felt like a comfortable studio apartment rather than a hotel. I could easily spend a week here!
Did not try the restaurant downstairs apart from the breakfast every morning, which was adequate, the variety wasn't very wide but what they provided (pastry, cornflakes, coffee, juice etc) was satisfying. There is also wi-fi access down in the restaurant area, but not in the rooms themselves, which was a slight let-down. The staff were always attentive and friendly and made us feel at ease. All in all, a very pleasant stay and I will not hesitate to book this hotel again.
Perfect location, great value, loved it!

There are things you lose by staying in a small (12 room) hotel - there's obviously no gym or pool and the restaurant/bar is clearly going to be significantly smaller than a larger hotel's equivalent. But if you want a small, boutique-y hotel in a great location, there's no better choice. The room was fantastic - great size, great bed, fabulous modern bathroom and all very clean. If that wasn't good enough, it's ideally located on one of Brussels' trendiest streets and only a 5 minute walk from the Grand Place and the heart of old town. Service was friendly and helpful, and for the price we couldn't recommend this place more highly. Thanks!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of Feb. The hotel was ideally situated close to many good bars and restruants and near many of the tourists sites. The hotel was as advertised on the web so there were no unplesant suprises. The room we had was clean and well equipped and very comfortable .The bar downstairs was a good place to start night out and he staff were helpful and friendly. The only odd thing about the hotel was the rooms were cleaned in the late afternoon rather than mid morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a city break to brussels, although the price was a little on the steep side.
Cool yet functional with a homely feel!!!

I stayed in the Cafe Pacific for two nights because I like to avoid chain hotels when I can get something with a little more personality. Sometimes that is hit and miss because some hotels sacrifice functionality to make their hotel more unique and 'cool'. Cafe Pacific manages to combine cool, trendy, comfortable and functionality very well.
They have designer sheets, robes and towels that are fluffy and comfortable, cool rooms which are interesting and not your standard boring 5 star room. The room I stayed in had a great view of the street outside and was well laid out.
They had Bvlgari toiletries which are always a hit with my girlfriend.
The owner operator used to work for Marriott so he knows good operations but also knows what not to do which I think he does perfectly.
Great restaurant, great homely feel... you should definitely give this hotel a try if you can get a room
Only negative is they did not have a desk in my room to work at but I mentioned this to them on check out and they advised that this is because they like to encourage people to come down and work in the restaurant with wireless... like you would at home.. .ie not work in your room but in your lounge room...
They are trying to make it a home away from home... I think they are doing a great job...
Different in a good way

Pacific is a small boutique hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are well designed. The location is perfect for exploring Brussels.
You have a different experience here then in a larger impersonal chain. There is a small check in area instead of a grand lobby but the staff took time to check train times for departure and map out a walk and its all about the little things when on vacation.
The bed was comftorable, the shower had great pressure and the flat screen is a nice touch.
A couple issues were that the elevator had an odor from the cleaning materials .... mop and dirty water bucket were left in there and forgotten about.
Also, I am a fan of a minibar, I wish there were cold beers in a fridge or some snacks.... I don't mind paying extra for those convenience items.
Overall, a good stay and I would comeback
Trendy & Cozy, just PERFECT!

Pacific Hotel is certainly one I'll remember as one of the best I have experienced in Brussels. It is located in the city center, at walking distance from a great nightlife area.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Simply Awesome!!!

We are a young couple in our twentys living in Paris and decided to take a weekend trip to Belgium. With all the hotels its difficult to make a choice, but we chose this one based on the nice location and the great reviews on this website!
I cannot tell you how impressed we were! Our room was funky & modern yet very practical. I was left inspired wanting to design my own apartment exactly the same! (We stayed in the mezzanine room.)
Everything was super clean and looked new! They really paid attention to all the little details to make the most of the space and you can really feel the difference between this and the big chain hotels.
The bed was so comfortable you won't want to leave, and you can turn the television around slide the doors across and watch it from the bath too!
We arrived before check in and the man kindly took us up to our room and showed us how to work everything speaking English to me and French to my partner!
The buffet breakfast in the morning was lovely. They had toast, croissants, pain au chocolate, cheese, ham, cereals, fruit, Orange juice, coffee and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't remember!
I asked lots of questions before coming (probably a few silly ones!) and paid by bank deposit because I didn't have a credit card.
Thankyou very much for our enjoyable stay and if we return to Brussels we will not be staying anywhere else. The best of luck for your hotel.
Excellent location ,lovely hotel !

Have just returned from this hotel after a three day break, our first one with a baby! The first thing that you notice is how close to the Grand Place it is and to the Bourse Metro , it was ,just three stops from the Eurostar Midi Station on the number 4 line.
It is a strange sight due to its size, you could easily walk straight passed it. This is because it is high and as a result there are only two rooms on each floor. This means that you are never affected by the noise of other guests.
The rooms themselves are extremely clean and have air conditioning. They also have a wide screen television on the wall
that has access to BBC 1.They are a good size and have very comfortable beds.
The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. They let us have our room two hours early(more down to luck than anything else)as it was ready and because it is such a small hotel there was never a queue at reception, which allowed a more personal touch, such as printing out exact instructions as to how to get to one of the museums.Mind you this is true of the local people in general, who went out of their way to be helpful and make our trip more enjoyable.
The breakfast was what you would expect from a small continental hotel. There was freshly squeezed orange juice, cereal,a variety of croissants and bread and tea or coffee. This is included in the price so I had no complaints. The breakfast room doubles up as the bar at night where 2 glasses of champagne cost 10 euros, cheaper than your average pub.
Another plus point is that the hotel is so near to a great selection of restaurants.I would highly recommend Pataya ,which had beautiful food and very nice staff. I would tell anyone to visit this hotel and if I ever return to Brussels, which is highly likely as it is a brilliant city, I would stay here again!

Fantastic stay!!

My wife and I (late 20s) are from Toronto, Canada and we stayed in late May for 2 nights. It was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Brussels. We stayed on the third floor facing the front of the hotel (Rue Antoine Dansaert).
Pros:
- large, spacious, clean room
- very modern and chic design
- very friendly staff, and we had a chance to speak to the owners during breakfast a couple of mornings ... they were wonderful!
- excellent location to shopping and various sites
- Bvlgari bath products
Cons:
- more lighting could be available in the bedroom (for reading), while the Woody Allen quote on the wall suggests that we shouldn't be reading!!
- free internet in lobby area would have been a nice addition
