Another great hotel is Dorint Brussels It's a very modern, 4 star hotel in the European District. The rooms are not very spacious, but very well furnished.
If you like modern designs, this is the place to stay. Also, check out their breakfast buffet, yum......

I stayed in this hotel in August 2002 when it was still the Dorint Hotel. I loved it and I am sure it's still a great place to stay when you are in Brussels during a time when the European Commission isn't really active (winter break or summer break). At these times you can find great bargains here!
Wonderful new rooms with photographic art in every room and on the corridors and everywhere. With a really hot weekend we enjoyed the aircondition and the British TV stations most actually :) At breatfast you could make your own waffles. We loved it!
Directions: It's located close to the European Commission in the European quarter only 4 stops by Metro away from the main station (The station is 'Schumann').
