Before I got onto the tube, I let my self get seduced by the wafting aroma of freshly baked waffles. Topped with ice cream and cherries. Yum. Once I alighted at the
stop, I realized how cruel and deceptive underground travel is. I was all warm and toasty in the tube, but once i got out onto street level, I discovered it was raining cats and dogs. I don’t believe in umbrellas.
So there I was, covering my head with the map and trying to figure out which street is which. Luckily, the hostel was just a ten minute walk from the tube station. I managed to get there without drowning or losing my luggage.
Visits last approximately between one to three hours and include a general introduction, given by a European Parliament official, to what the EP is and how it works, possibly followed by a discussion with one or more MEPs, insofar as parliamentary business so allows. When the European Parliament is in session, visitors will be able to observe MEPs' debates 'live'.
During part-sessions, the maximum number of visitors in a group is 40, and participants must be at least 14 years old.
Audio-guided visits to the hemicycle of the European Parliament take place from Mondays to Thursdays at 10.00h and 15.00h and on Fridays at 10.00h only. There are no visits on official holidays.

Drink some Belgian Beer
Oh dear. Some say there are 400 brands, others say there are 800 brands. Trying to get through them to find out could be dangerous and you’ll probably get hooked on one you like before long and stop going on. Just order a different one each time until you find your winner. For me Leffe Blonde is unbeatable. Do experiment a little anyway.
CATS & BEERS
One evening, while I was sipping my *Pêcheresse* beer (always served in a champagne glass) at "À LA MORT SUBITE" - the house-CAT was walking around seaching for a warm place to take a nap...
...That day the place was fully booked and guess whose lap did he chose?
MINE...AND I'M ALLERGIC TO CATS, lol!!
