I was very disappointed with this place. Given that the sole purpose of the trip was to get away from London and spend a few days hibernating in a nice hotel kind of made the disappointment greater. Hardly a cheap option, the rooms are fairly plain, as was expected given the white theme, but the actual individual design element was really reduced to having a metal postbox in the room.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Two cheap single beds pushed together rather than proper twin beds. They were on wheels so had a tendency to move in the night. The nightshift staff were very helpful, day staff incredibly sour. The place has free wifi in the main lounge, though unfortunately they didn't point this out before I'd spent 5 euros to use the wifi in the room.

Breakfast consisted of some cereals and not much more and seemed rather chaotic. No-one could work out the coffee machine that seemed only to give very weak, very small coffees.

As a design hotel the place does look cool at first glance, though the whiteness of the rooms becomes a bit bleak and oppressive after a few days. The bar/lounge area downstairs is pretty cool but again upon closer inspection it's beginning to look a little tired. The excellent bottled Belgian beer is fairly cheap so it's pretty easy to wile away an evening there if you can't be bothered to stray far and if you can actually find seating that doesn't do your back in. Apart from beer though don't hope for much else. They had just a half bottle of wine left in the fridge my first night.

This place is certainly style over substance and while the location on Ave Louise is decent for catching the tram into the centre of town there are much better value options in the city.
