On the road to Mostar and just about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop in the centre of town.
Friendly and quite busy place when we arrived, everyone very helpful with good English.
A choice of two rooms for us, a large one with several huge windows and in direct sunlight or a smaller shadier one overlooking the river - easy choice, the second!
By no means a modern place with all the facilites but is perfectly adequate for an overnight, just as motels are planned to be.
Ate in the restaurant in the evening, another tip soon.
No problems here, enjoyed our short stay.
Best place to stay in Konjic at 35 euros per night for a double. Clean and airy rooms. Decent restaurant, accommodating manager. Little english spoken but can get by with gestures. Menu has english section. Next to a lake, some paddle boats available, swimming possible.
We were originally booked to stay in the Motel Konjic but this turned out to be horrific (a Stalinist hellhole!), small, cramped quarters, dark and scary bathroom, just had the feel of a the socialist era, gray, concrete, drab, depressing. So, we decided to pay double and upgrade to the VILLA PALMA which is actually in the next town, about 5 minutes away from Konjic's town centre by taxi (costs of taxi ride ranges from 5 to 10 KM, don't get ripped off, bargain first).
The management does not speak much English but it is possible to get by (their menu has an English version) with hand gestures etc. Villa Palma was very pleasant, brightly lit and cheery rooms, a good restaurant and next to the lake where you can, if you wish, swim or rent a paddle boat. The restaurant opens till late and the management is quite obliging, whipping up snacks after 11pm. It's quite pleasant to have a coffee and gaze at the beautiful lake. Breakfast is included in room price.
Rooms give you breathing space; bathrooms are small but clean. It's about 35 euros / night for a double. In my opinion, the only place I would stay in Konjic.
