Call me crazy, but I believe that when you book at Hostel Dino, you should sleep at Hostel Dino. Am I right or am I right?
Regardless, after an easily navigable walk from the Mostar bus station to Hostel Dino in the dark, I was greeted by a friendly, English-speaking woman who confirmed my booking at Hostel Dino, promptly walked me down the street to "Kiki Hostel" and told me I'd be staying there. Of course I was welcome to come back down the street to use the Hostel Dino computer, but I shouldn't expect the advertised (and paid!) luxuries like a common area, restaurant, air conditioning, luggage storage, reception, information or even a map.
Online reviews of Hostel Dino suggest that this is very common, and guests are frequently moved to the homes of friends and neighbours of the operator's family. I can't recommend Hostel Dino as there is no guarantee that is where you'll actually end up staying.
(As an aside, Kiki Hostel wasn't bad. Although there were no services at all, and it was quite hot, it was clean and quiet, with one bathroom to be shared by eight to ten people.)
