Pkencijan camp: Tara river camping

The word cozy describes this place best. Everything from the little wooden huts to the fire places was made with love for detail and blends in beautifully with the breathtaking nature. There is also room to set up some tents. Milan Sherpas (the pan) and the crew are fantastic. The way they coped with urban dwellers experiencing the "call of the wild" from all over the world gets my respect. On the weekend that we were there this camp had partying nature lovers from the US, Germany, Netherlands, Russia and Serbia.

Unique Quality: You can book full pension and it is some of the best local food here that I have ever had. The beach is fantastic and safe for kids. Just walking out of the camp you are in the midst of a jungle that is waiting to be discovered. Even though water seems to be everwhere I did not notice a single mosquito. Get a Jelen pivo and enjoy, this place is blessed.

Pkencijan: Tara Honeymoon suite

If you like nature, have a romantic streak and can do without cable TV and jacuzzi for a couple of days, than this is the right thing for you. These cozy little huts are about 4 meters from Tara river. Actually in spring they are in Tara river if not removed on time. No need for heavy luggage (there is no room for it anyway), the dress code is informal and the local cuisine full pension will make you dizzy if you don't watch out. Service amenities include an employee that helps keep all the camp fires burning in the evening. What more do you need?
