Bed Bugs... beware!!!
First of all I want to start by saying I have never complained about a hotel in my life before. I was given a room in Villa Wien on my first night in Sarajevo. When I woke up, I found I had slept in a bed with bed bugs. I immediately reported this to the hotel expecting them to make a big deal about it, but apparently they didn't care much. I ended up with close to 200 bites from that one night and when I asked to speak to the manager my experience just got 1000 times worse! He basically accused me of lying even though I had the bite marks all over AND left the room with the bugs still in the bed, although I had killed most of them. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to come up with an excuse for everything, no matter how ludicrous it was. The bugs are extremely disgusting and if they were in one room, there's a good chance there are more. Based on that alone, I would avoid this hotel. However, the response was horrific! I'm more upset about how I was treated than anything else. Stay at this hotel at your own risk...
