Could you please tell me with whom did u book the excursions with? you mentioned someone George right? in that case please send me his email address since i'm going to Bansko this February for skiing etc!

You have obviously looked at someone's Bansko page and found this excursion. What you should really do now is to send this person an email, using the VT email system. (Click on the link below that member's passport photo). It's very doubtful that that member will see your posting here, as you don't mention his/her name.

Bansko has a dozen of taverns (mehana) offering regional delicacies such as karvavitsa (sausage) and Kapama (meat and sauerkraut in a pot) Also the local wines are worth trying: try Plonk Since there are not so many foreigners visiting Bansko, expect to receive a menu cart in Cyrilic Bulgarian. Yet, the places I ate had often younger staff, who also speak English, so probably they will translate it for you.
