Katarino Hotel - one of the best off the center
We have stayed there 3 or 4 times. We booked a bungalow for 4 people with a fireplace and one bedroom. It is very quiet if you are looking for peace - off the crying kids and night disco. Excellent after ski relaxation! The only "contra" is a distant location from the gondola lift - you have to wait for a free shuttle-bus (every 15 min.) Very good breakfast and dinner with live music. Hotel Katarino Spa
This hotel is not in Bansko but on 12 km far away, on the road Bansko – Blagoevgrad. I’ve been there only for a cup of coffee but it was great. It has a wonderful view to Pirin mountain. Katarino has its own zoo with different birds and few horses.
Besides the hotel rooms, the accommodation is also in family wooden bungalows that look amazing.

Best SPA hotel
Katarino SPA is 7km from Bansko but that is an advantage. Located among the mountains, this SPA hotel offers thermal outdoor pool as well as the indoor one, spa treatments, saunas, steam bath....and it is great after skiing all day!
