"Ski in Bansko"

I love skiing in Bansko - a nice, inexpensive and friendly place. I am skiing here for the 5th time!Before you go, visit Bansko site below (it shows snow situation, weather ect. http://www.banskoski.com/?page=bansko-live⊂=panocams&language=en
I am writing from the Perun Lodge hotel now :0), the pic above is from the Hotel Katarino, though.
A week trip from St. Petersburg costs about Euro 600/person (air tickets, transfer and accommodation with breakfast), but if you arrange the trip on your own, you can save a lot as there are many small apts for Euro 20/night.

"Rylsky Monastery"

You can book an excursion to Rylsky Monastery which is about an hour and half from Bansko by bus.
We had a good talk with a monk, he speaks good Russian, as many Bulgarians do.

"Bansco Ski resort"

This is Polina, my younger daughter. She started snowboarding 4 years ago with Sacho, a Bulgarian coach - fantastic, she sais. One week with him was enough to get used to the slopes and enjoy the process. Do not ignore a coach or a ski school if you are a newcomer!
