Sandanski Train Station
Sandanski is a very quiet and green place with its big parks. Although it is next to Pirin, there is very warm and seldom freezing in the winter. With its mineral baths it is a complex tourist center.
Sandanski, like Bansko, is a good starting point for hiking in Pirin, but there is not a ski resort nearby.
Sandanski is a very green and nice place, and Melnik and Popina luka in Pirin are in its surroundings.
