Beautiful Views of the City
In 2008 my husband and I got married at Mirage. After our wedding, which was catered beautifully, we stayed for two nights in a suite.
I was amazed at the level of service at this Burgas hotel. My husband had warned me of the less than attentive service at establishments in Bulgaria compared to what I am used to being American. I did not find that true here. Waitstaff in the restaurant were above par and everyone was very friendly in general.
The views from this hotel are amazing, overlooking the entire city of Burgas. There is even a catwalk outside where my husband took pictures from. The room was top-notch with a comfortable lounging area, built-in bar and a soaking tub in the bathroom. Fresh fruit, cheese, yogurt and honey for breakfast really hit the spot. The restaurant was nice. I'm not normally a pork eater, but I indulged and was rewarded with pork chops that were succulent and just melted in my mouth.
My favorite thing is that when my mother-in-law booked the wedding, she was instructed "no chalga music." Whoever made that rule has my undying devotion! Really, everything about this place was spot on and I have no complaints.
Unique Quality: Incredible views and perfectly located for access to the city center or for heading out.

Pukka hotel
Now im not used to staying in hotels so maybe i was spoilt, but i thought this place was pukka! maybe more so as it was free, as part of my investment trip. its 190lev per night for a standard double room incl buffet breakfast.
its a 4 star hotel, about 3km from the city centre, about 2lev(70p) for a taxi into town.
its got a nightclub, although its just a tiny bar really, with occasional lap dancing. its also got a nice lounge bar, a good restaurant and a gym!

Burgas's Newest Hotel
A nice-looking hotel near the city's main entrance if you are coming from Sofia.
Unique Quality: I haven't been there. After all I am from Burgas. But I heard it is very luxurious.
