    Nice Hotel!

    by

We were a total of 3 adults and 2 children (15 and 5), we lived in two twin rooms.
We were here for a week in late summers of June 2011, hotel is coming good, good service, good cleaning, while there are opportunities for spa and wellness, and there is a room for the small children with activities.

This is a family friendly hotel!
    Good food!

Unique Quality: Two Pool, one inside and one outsid
    The view is reallt beautiful!

At Andonov Family B&B is any problem with the parking, please?
Thank you

I don't know the hotel but as it is in the new town there shouldn't be any problems with parking - maybe the hotel has its own parking lot or maybe you'll need to find street parking. It is only the old town that has car entry restrictions.

Travel Tips for Nesebar

New Nesebar at sunset

by SoulFisher

This is the new town in the mainland.
The new village was made in the 20th century so it lacks old historic monuments.
Instead, it is used as a bus stop and as tourist resort.
The bus stop is in the main street. There are plenty of restaurants in that street. ยด
The south side has the best beaches of Nesebar. One of the beaches is broad but it's crowded. If you like to walk farther south from Nesebar, you'll find good broad beaches with less people.
There are many hotels, apartments and rooms for rent in the new town, but beware that they are more expensive than in other Bulgarian towns. Most of the tourists in this part of town are Bulgarians themselves, so communication in English is a bit difficult.
The north bank has a promenade in which you can walk to Sunny Beach.

Alternative Restaurant Usages!

by johngayton

This restaurant overlooking the bay to the north of the old town is obviously shut for the close-season. Its owner seems to have found a winter use for it though - enlarge the pic and you'll see what.

Amazing the little things you notice when you've got a town all to yourself!

Bring US Dollars.

by ilko4002

The American Dollar is the preffered foreign currency in Bulgaria. You will get a better rate exchnging dollars to levs than any other currency. There are also a lot change bureaus that will only exchange all day other currencies during a certain time of the day.

If You Must Take Your Car

by johngayton

If intending to drive to Nesebar note that, with the exception of residents and deliveries, motor vehicles are not allowed into the old town. There are well-signposted car parks just before and after the causeway and the fee is (Jan 2010) 2 leva for up to 5 hours or 8 leva per day.

This seems to be seasonal though as I didn't notice anyone manning either the checkpoints or the car parks during my winter visit.

The ruins of Nessebur

by ilko4002

The ruins left from the middle ages are a great activity for everybody who likes to go sightseeing. I really think that contrast of old ruins with the newly styled buildings, brings the town a great uniquiness. The ruins are spread around the downtown area and some of them are turned in to restaurants.
