Hi, does anyone know about buses from Nesebar to Veliko Tarnovo on sunday, preferably in the late afternoon. Where do they leave from and at what time...

There is a bus to Svishtov which departs from Sunny Beach at 13.55. You can catch it at Nesebar's Festa Panorama stop at 13.59. The bus arrives at Veliko Tarnovo at 19.23. See http://www.bus.light-bg.com/php/search.php?nachalo=%ED%E5%E5&krai=%E2%E5%EB%E8%EA%EE+&firma=&x=36&y=9

Here I am on stoping for a picture on my way to Sunny Beach. From Nessebur, Sunny Beach is just a 15 minute walk. There is also a trolly that goes every few minutes to bring people to and from Nessebur & Sunny Beach. Sunny beach can also be seen from the streets up top the mountains in Nessebur (not in picture but on the right). In this picture I have the Black Sea & Old Nessebur in the the back ground.
Somehow every time I get the chance to witness old local women around the narrow streets, it's a special moment for me....Wondering what their life looks like... And I can't help making references with some photos I've seen from the greek islands of old fisherman or locals.
The beaches are in the new part of town. They are sandy and clean.
The South Beach is 2km long and crowded with cafes and bars.
The North Beach is 8km long and links the town with the largest resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, Sunny Beach.
The average temperature in June is 28 degrees. The temperature of the sea is 25 degrees.
The restaurant is located in the downtown area. The food quality was great. Everything was fresh. I had fried cheese and cucumber salad and Bulgarian yogurt. I liked the way the food was prepared. I also like the fact that it was all fresh and fast. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The old town has three millennia of diverse history and each individual period has left its own traces. The first thing you see when you arrive is the remains of the fortifications at the gateway. These date from the periods of Greek, Roman and Byzantine rule and were themselves built on Thracian foundations.
Unfortunately the late 19th and early 20th century rebuilding of the town buried many of its ancient archaeological treasures but the sites for any modern building works must first be assessed with this in mind. One such is the dig overlooking Nesebar Bay which is currently being worked by archaeologists from the University of Sofia.
