Ive been to Nessebar 3 times Ive not heard of that hotel it must be the New Nessebar. The New Nessebar is more modern than the old town discos and stuff and the old town is more layed back quieter Both places are good but its not like Spain and watch out for the money exchanges or youll get ripped off read the small print

In 1983 Nessebur was put on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Monuments. Systematic archaeological studies, reinforcement, restoration and conservation have preserved the material traces of history more than anywhere else. You feel as if you are on the borderline with another world. The small peninsula is a meeting place of bygone times. The millennia of uninterrupted human occupation (the earliest traces of human settlement date back to over 3000 years ago) have produced an impressive cultural layer which is as thick as 6 meters in some places.

I know it sounds corny to recommend sunsceen lotion to people who are going to the sea, but I can't emphasise its impornance enough. The sun is so hot that you must protect yourself at all times

The Basilica Holy Mother Eleusa

The Basilica Holy Mother Eleusa (Tenderness) was built in the North side of the peninsula. It is dated to the VI c. It is a three-nave church with three more apses and a nartex. The two side aisles have two smaller apses pointing the North and to the South. It is 28 m long and 18 m wide. In 1920 excavations and studying started here. Now the basilica is well preserved and partly restored. The Medieval churches of Nessebar are the pearls in the precious string of ancient cultural monuments that can be seen nowadays. Some of them completely saved and some- partially, they are the hearts of the unique atmosphere of Nessebar.

A beautiful sunrise over Nessebar

It is so beautiful to see the sunrise while everybody is still sleeping and all you have for company are the seagulls flying over your head and screaming to greet the sun.
Before sunrise , you can see the fisherman heading on their way to throw their nets in the Sunny beach bay. It's always something interesting to observe...

on the second pic You can see the port of the old Nessebar at the right forming a gate to the bay of sunny beach with Emine cap where the sun rises in the morning.

Taken on Sunny Beach, behind me is a boat bar. Sunny beach is nice & clean beach with warm water from the Black Sea. There is also a nudist beach separate from the main beach. There are also a few hotels located near by.
