Travel to Sunny Beach in December
Hi,
I'm looking to travel to Sunny Beach (Bulgaria) in December of this year. I know that this is a hard place to reach out of the summer season. Does anyone know the best way to get here from Sofia (Airport)? I looked into buses from Sofia - Burges and so far that seems the best way, but I'm not sure how long they take? Thanks!

You have to go from the Airport to the bus station in the centre of the city to by a ticket for Burgas it's 25 leva which is about 12 Euro ( don't take a taxi from the airport, cause you can run out of cash really fast) Took the bus 84 to the "Orlov Bridge" and then - 213,214,305 to the bus station.From Burgas you have to take another bus to Sunny Beach.Wish you luck ;)

With a car is 3 hours and a half, but the buses are traveling slowly and it will took you maybe 6 hours to Burgas, at the bus station ask where the buses are stopping, cause it could stop in every big city, cause now is not season.I traveled last week with "Biomet",which stops only in "Stara Zagora" for a rest, but the bus traveled really slowly.From Burgas to Sunny beach is about 30-40 min,not sure.

i have an appartment just outside Sunny beach and it is a 6 hour journey to sofia from sunny beach great country hope you enjoy your visit
