Please could you advise family friendly restaraunts , good food with maybe a playground? sunny beach , going 1st July... thanks Jim
The list is endless for eating places in Sunny beach. Like all holidays abroad you take a risk eating anything but we found the place to be great for children and quite cheap. You will be spoilt for choice and most places seemed quite clean.

Most of the restaurants in SB are very good; it really depends on where you are staying, as the resort is some 3 miles long. We stay at the southern end of the resort, which we find to be best and cheapest and particularly like the restaurant Piccadilly. Have a look at www.restaurant.bg for a list of most of the restaurants in SB.

rafaelo and the steak house in front of it, tropikana, the mexican restaurant...food is good i am sure u'll eat baked patatoes on the streets though like most tourists haha
Hi i am an expat living in Bulgaria for the last two years i am based in varna which is an hours drive from sunny beach but visit friends in that area. The weather at the moment is variable which is normal for spring but have already had some days topping the 25 degrees mark, by May the weather is usually a lot more settled and is lovely and warm, maybe cooler in the evenings but daytime should be good enough for a decent tan!
