Panorama Hotel and tavern complex: Great family hotel with an excellent terrace view!
This nice 2-star-family-owned-hotel (more bed and breakfast if you ask me) consists of 2 parts - a so-called folk or traditional style and a comtemporary one. It has 35 beds situated in double rooms, triple rooms and apartments, all of these rooms have TVs and cable television, local heating system, hair dryers in all bathrooms and bathtubs in the bathrooms of the apartments in the new part. We and some friends of ours have been in a triple room and an apartment the contemporary part, so this is the one I shall review here. Our double room was just above the tavern and is not very big in size, but offering everything needed for a good sleep (what exactly we needed after spending the entire day in visiting museums and having a tasty dinner with a lot of rakia and wine), the apartment was on the upper floor and has much more space and a great terrace big enough for 4-6 people terrace from where you could enjoy the view at the town. The price per double/triple room is 50 BGN (25 EUR) while this for the apartment is 70 BGN (35 EUR) and includes also a breakfast served in the tavern. You could pay in cash or by all the major cards there. The owners are extremely kind people and trying to give you the best possible service. This could be witnessed during the breakfast when you could choose among several types of breakfast and they prepared more of it for free for us. I do like their motto that you could read in the hotel and its advertising materials - "Come as a guest, leave as a friend!" There is something like a small garden and a parking for max 5-6 cars inside the hotel yard (by the way, the owners allowed us to keep the cars inside the yards for several hours after we checked out). It's really a very nice place and I recommend it highlly - the only two things that I didn't like about this hotel are the very dark colours of the tiles in the bathroom and the very thin walls - you could hear your neighbours and this woke up us early in the morning...
The great service from the family of owners, the good location on the hill and the terrific view from the terrace, the superb rose wine in the tavern (9 BGN/4.5 EUR per litre)!

Hotel KALINA: a family hotel
I did not stay in here but we passed by and among the hotels I've watched from the outside, this looks very pretty.
It has a nice garden.

The room (15 euro rose -7.5) although single had all the necessary comforts: bathroom with sink toilet and shower, TV and a comfortable bed.
The price is minimal, and more for 3 leva (about 1.5 euros) a full breakfast and generous will be served in the common room.

La chambre (15 leva -7,5 euros) bien que simple avait tout le confort nécessaire: salle de bain avec lavabo toilette et douche, tv et un lit confortable.
Le prix est vraiment minime, et pour 3 levas de plus (environ 1,5 euro ) un petit déjeuner très complet et copieux vous sera servis dans la salle commune.

Hotel Sezoni: Cosy hotel in Koprivshtitsa
Koprivshtitsa is one of my favourite places in Bulgaria. As I live in Sofia I often want to escape from the big city and Koprivshtitsa is a perfect choice. I like hotel Sezoni as it is a small and cosy place where I can relax. The atmosphere reminds you for the old times. I like the furniture made from wrought iron. This winter the hotel is close for a renovation and the owners will include some SPA features in their offer. Can't wait.

private rooms: Private rooms
At the tourist inforamtion you can find private rooms adresses. They can show you photo's of the many rooms they offer. rooms cost 10 euro, most of them including breakfast. I stayed at a family who had a nice room with private bathroom. it was at the main square. Friendly people.

Hotel Boliarka: Like at home
Very nice. It has different rooms with great balconys, and also a garden. The owners live in the same building, and they have pleasant manners.

Astra: Nice place to stay, friendly owners
This is a little hotel near the beginning of the city as you go in. Friendly and helpful owners. Clean and was just redone inside too. Nice plumbing, nice location and quiet.
6 double rooms and apartments. My room looked out onto a little grass courtyard.
