Chateau Montagne: The newest and probably the best hotel in Troyan!
I have been there during the last weekend and I really enjoyed my stay in this 3-star hotel. Everything is new and clean and you can see that! For a price of about 40 euro per night for a double room you get a room with an air-condition, cable TV and free broadband internet, not to mention the included breakfast on a block table in the morning. If you are a guest of the hotel you can also use for free the sauna, the fitness gym and the outdoor swimming pool. There is also a spa center, but I haven't used its services so I can't comment them.
The hotel has a very good and trendy restaurant, the food was delicious, but it took the waitresses a longer time than usual to bring it and the menu was not very long.
Unique Quality: Unique combination of style and good athmosphere, a great outside swimming pool with a bar, a very trendy restaurant with live music, friendly staff.

Sherpa hotel, village of Cherni Ossam: A unique place to stay
Several times with different people I stayed at the 'Sherpa hotel' in Cherni Ossam. It's a simple place with very welcoming hosts. Radiu and Pepa are part of this village and the Mountain history. They would play guitar for their guests, retell old stories, introduce to the village and it's museums or even help you getting to know arround with their homemade map. Worth to be visited!
Unique Quality: Basic, simple, modest + warm welcome!
