General Tip: Something For Everyone

Being only here for a day trip I didn't stay in any of the hotels but did note that there seems to be a good variety of accommodation available ranging from hillside chalets to the 4-star Kalina Palace. Within the town itself there are hotels and guest houses and the local Municipal Tourist Office can assist with bookings.

Zografa: My favourite hotel in Tryavna

I visited this hotel several times. In fact, I liked it the first time I was there and I didn't change it the next times I was in Tryavna. It is built in the old style. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the service is very good and people from the staff are kind and polite. This is a small hotel, but the last time I was there I noticed they were enlarging it and building an additional house.
There is a tavern with a fireplace where you can eat the traditional Bulgarian dishes, drink Bulgarian wine and feel very well:) It is big enough for 60 people and additional summer garden for 100 people.

The hotel is in the best part of the town, so you can just go out and walk through the little shops and the crafts street, visit some museums and see the Love Fountain :) You can drink coffee and have a breakfast in the coffee-house of the hotel-ordinary things, but really pleasant to be done when you are there.

Why spend 30 euro fr a room, when a gentle lady offers you a cozy room with balcony and a living room, shower and toilet for 15 lev (7, 6 euro price I paid) per night?
It is centrally located, and the lady helps you with recommendations, books in 6 languages.
