A great Sofia hotel
I highly recommend the Maria Luisa Hotel in Sofia. It is well situated--close to the city center. The rooms are nicely furnished, including the bathrooms. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant and serves a good complimentary breakfast. The best thing about the Maria Luisa is the staff. I found them to be extremely helpful and eager to be of any assistance. While the Maria Luisa may not be a budget choice, it is definitely a good value, and an excellent base to explore Sofia.
