Looking for a ski equiptment shop in Sofia

can someone reccomand a cheap ski shop to buy clothes googles and stuff??

will it be cheaper in Sofia or in Bansko???

Bulgarian Beer (Under construction)

I am not a beer lover so my opinion on Bulgarian beer cannot be trustworthy. Still I guess you should taste a few kinds ...
Bellow are a fe well-known (in Bulgaria) kinds of beer:

1. Kamenitza - its ad line is "Men know why" (my favourite although I am not a man and probably have no idea why!)
2. Astika
3. Zagorka
4. Plevensko Pivo (Beer from the region of Pleven)
4. Shopsko Pivo (Beer from the region of Sofia)

Nova Godina & Dyado Mraz (New Year)

This is my favourite holiday!

On this day, we receive presents from Dyado Mraz (Grandpa Frost). Dyado Mraz lives on the North Pole and is very bizi making presents., which he brings together with Snezhanka (Snow White) on New Year's Eve.

Nowadays, Dyado Mraz is labeled a communist invention and some people have moved on to presents from Santa on Xmas. I always open my pressies at Midnight or on 1 Jan. It's just how things should be ;-)

BOROVETS is a winter ski and...

BOROVETS is a winter ski and summer hiking resort in the pine-clad Rila mountains. We enjoyed a week of sunshine here in the snow-covered peaks taking it easy (see my Bulgaria page). The Rila range has the highest peak in Bulgaria - MUSSALA - at 2925m. The pic here just about shows a path (on the right-hand side) that we walked on, leading to the base of the Mussala.
