Kolikovski Hotel

This modern 33 room hotel is situated in the heart of Sofia on a quiet street just off Vitosha Boulevard. It's also a few steps away from the National Palace of Culture. The cities main sights are all within walking distance though. The hotels exterior is a modern design, this makes it easy to spot from a distance. I arrived via a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.

The interior of the hotel is stylish as well as clean and tidy. The staff on reception were friendly, welcoming and spoke good english. My room was clean and well laid out. It had air conditioning, which you need in the summer. The buffet breakfast was of good quality.

A good hotel in a great location and an ideal place to stay for a few days in Sofia.

A very decent hotel, large room, good shower, excellent breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, good restaurant. Only two quibbles: a) it was hard to work out how to put the air-conditioning, and b) the bill was considerably higher than I had expected, mainly because it included a tax that I didn't realise existed. Good, reliable, modern lift.
