Not Often I Use The Word "Flawless"!

The norm with inexpensive hotels is that you can be perfectly satisfied with what you get but there's usually a little flaw or two that you notice. Nothing worth complaining about, maybe something simple like the breakfast coffee being lukewarm, the chambermaid knocking on the door despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign or, my personal big bugbear, naff internet connections.

Here though at the Expo I can't think of a single thing to even minimally criticise. Check-in and check-out was cheery, friendly, multi-lingual and efficient. Throughout my short (2 night) stay the staff were more than happy to help including looking up my bus times and departure location for my onward journey (and arranging a taxi to get to the bus station). Coffee and cognac as a nightcap after an evening out served smilingly.

My room was modern, spotlessly clean and everything worked including the WiFi. The small lobby bar is stylish and relaxing. Breakfast in the chic downstairs dining room was simple but excellent: the usual cold meats, cheese, bread and salad with the bonus of hot sausage and eggs - good coffee - and looked after by a cheery "Dubro Utro!" server.

The central location is ideal for both business and tourist travellers. For the latter the old town and its cafes, restaurants and nightlife being minutes walk.

Unique Quality: All-in-all a perfect hotel for the price - and, dare I say it: "At twice the price it would still have been cheap!"
