Hotels In General: I Didn't Actually Stay Here But...
... the hotels all look pretty plush anyway. From all accounts the hotels here have been seriously upgraded from the Communist-era days and most look pretty modern and inviting with their own pools and facilities and not particularly expensive either with very good deals available at either end of the season.
Website is the Golden Sands general site which is mostly about hotels!

Arabella Riu Hotel: Great food and service
The 7-story hotel is just one of the many new buildings of this type. It has 4 stars and All Inclusive option, which I found really great. It has 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool, gym and fitness area, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. I definetly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to go to Golden Sands.
What I found really interesting about the hotel were the entertainment programs: Aqua Gym, Aerobics, Bingo, Theatre and even Circus.

Park Hotel Odessos: Nice hotel away from biggest partys
Our group had four rooms and all have air conditioner that worked differently, but at least it worked in every room. Rooms were bit small, but nice. It was cleaned well (even with small tips :D). There wasn't any annoying people living at this time, mainly families and elders. Quiet nice place away from big partys in central hotels :D And great big breakfasts!
