Pansion Park

We came to Slunj because we read that there are buses from here to Bihac in BIH. After our arrival one late afternoon in September 2012 there were no more buses to continue our journey that day.

We first tried a centrally located sobe (rooms) but they were fully booked, so we ended up in the centrally located Pansion Park. Here you will get your key from the Cafe Tijara in the same building. You need to pay upon checking in.

We only paid 212 Kuna for a double room. The room was dated and didn't have a TV nor Wifi. But it was clean and comfortable enough for one night and there was plently of hot water in the shower after you let it run for 10-15 minutes (we were told to do that). We had room no. 105 which faced onto the side street.

The young woman in the bar spoke English and we had to show our ID from which she copied the details into a big book.

In the corridor in front of the rooms there is lots of space with seats and sofas. You will get a room key and a key to the building, so that you don't have to enter/leave through the cafe.

Unique Quality: There was a paper in the room which stated that the room cost is 100 Kuna per person plus 6 Kuna tax per person.

There were little soaps and shampoo.

The Pansion Park is just across the street from the bus station, a supermarket with bakery, ice cream stall and fresh fruit stall.

They seem to have 15 doubles/twins, 3 triples and 2 quads.
