My family and I thoroughly enjoyed a weeks holiday in this hotel back in August 2004 and can honestly say that not one of the holiday hotels we have stayed in since has come anywhere near approaching the pristine standard of the Epidaurus.
We have never revisited a region or holiday hotel before but after reading all the recent reviews we have decided to try and re-book for a two week holiday for next year.

I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with a family. We stayed with an all-inlusive 7 day package deal. The only things we spent money on were tips, sunscreen and incidentals for the kids. The meals were excellent with lots to choose from. It sits right on the water, has two pools, a 'Mini Club' for the children. Our room overlooked the bay, giving a wonderful sunset view.
Unique Quality: Great view of the bay, you can see Dubrovnik across the bay (20km). Beautiful sunsets.

Almost every evening we went to the city of Cavtat which is abouth half an hour walk from the hotel. My daughter was very
satisfied with activities in Mini Club although she didn't speak any of languages which were spoken by the girl who lead the Mini Club.
The food was very good with lots of fruits.
The rooms are not so spacious, but looking good.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. We stayed at the all-inclusive Iberostar Epidaurus. Our room overlooked the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous. Lots of activities for children. Food was excellent. Walking distance from Cavtat, a quaint little village. Only a 45 minute boat ride to Dubrovnik.
can you suggest a great beach hotel in or around Dubrovnik are the beaches good, needs to be on the beach or with flat access any suggestions, how is it generally
I recommend Hotel Albatros or Hotel Epidaurus in Cavtat which is very near Dubrovnik.Both hotels are practically on the sand beach, there's also outdoor pool. Good connections with Dubrovnik by bus or boat.
thanks I want to see Dubrovnik and sunbathe and relax and swim in the sea if possible I am taking a lady in her 70's so not interested in noisy clubs etc more a quiet hotel for older people a spa would be a bonus.
