The Babin Kuk complex has 12 earth tennis courts, a set of table-tennis boards, grounds for volleyball, football, handball, boccie, and mini-golf. Water sports feature wind-surfing, water-skiing, rowing and sailing. From time to time there are courses for tennis, swimming, scuba-diving and wind-surfing while weekends are reserved for regattas and sports competitions. The hotel has its own beach and harbour for boats; nudist beach and an indoor swimming - pool. There are also attractive jogging tracks (total length 4 km) leading along the seaboard of the peninsula.

One of the best hotels in Dubrovnik is five-star hotel EXCELSIOR , which contains 172 rooms with the telephone, TV set and mini bar in room, hair dryer, central heathing, etc. It is situated very close to the Old Town (5 minutes on foot) with beautiful view of the Old Town and the island of Lokrum from its terraces and from the most of the balconies. There is a big sand beach in a close vicinity to the hotel. The hotel exsists since July 10h 1913, when it was opened as hotel ODAK . Later on, in 1965, it was rebuilt and renamed as EXCELSIOR. the best deals in the best locations are the many private rooms that are let out by residents of the cities. often these rooms are rented out by people whose families in Dubrovnik go back many generations over hundreds of years. The rooms tend to be fairly private too, with their own doorways and bathrooms--much better than any hotel!
