What a fantastic Welcome after a flight Delay when arriving at 2.00 am. The Reception staff are more than helpful when you require information and will try find a solution to any of your questions. The room we had was on the 6th floor and had a beautiful sea view from its balcony. The room was very clean, compact but roomy with all your required needs and was serviced every morning. The breakfast was superb with a choice to suit most needs which you ate on the balcony overlooking the pool and bathing area. The hotel is finished from its recent overhaul and previous comments from other users do not apply re building work etc. A most pleasant stay is waiting for you!

The bathing area was excellent which consisted of a smooth rock area with sunbeds and parosols, which were free, and led to a cordened sea bathing area which was serviced by a ladder into the clear blue sea. I used this bathing area and found it much more better than a beach because you had no problem with sand so you could to pop in and out of the sea then up for a nice cool beer at the beach bar of the hotel as often as you like within seconds. The hotel is serviced by the number 6 babin kuk bus (every 15 mins) and tickets are 8 kn from reception or 10 kn if you pay the driver.To get to the bus stop walk out the main hotel door where opposite you see a path. Follow the path bear right then left at the junction and the bus stop is there (250m from hotel). When your stay is finished and if you require a bus service to the airport you need the number 7 bus(ask reception for times as they every 50 mins) to the bus station by the harbour ( stay on bus to the end of the journey) 8kn. Then the Atlas bus to the airport which is 35 kn. Ask at the bus station which bay the bus leaves from (bay 8 for me). All in all the hotel is well serviced by buses for your stay and you are only 15 mins from the walled City. Near the bus stop is a park area and if you follow the path through you will come to a shopping area which has bars, restaurants and groceries. The hotel is well located for all your Dubrovnik needs.
