It was a very romatic stay. If you are with your girlfrined or wife, pick up that Hotel. There is another one in the city, but this one is very expensive compared to the Stari Grad.
All other Hotels are outside the medieval city.
Unique Quality: The view from the roof on the old city is very nice. The Hotel is very small, only 8 rooms.

This is one of only a handful of hotels in the old town of Dubrovnik. It is a small hotel with only eight rooms. The hotel is ideally located off the main street in Dubrovnik.
The great thing about this hotel is the roof top terrace which has commanding views over the roof tops of dubrovnik. Amazing roof top terrace with views over the old town
On the top of Mt.Srd, we found an exhibition, explaining and showing the last war...
We were surprised to see how severely Dubrovnik had been damaged...
We really respect the people of Dubrovnik for preserving the ruins of the last war and also for their effort to restore their beautiful city .
Now its beauty is fascinating people all over the world.
We stayed at Hotel Stari Grad, which has a lovely terrace on its roof.
Breakfast on the terrace... unforgettable experience :-)
Mom & I on the Plaza street... the busiest street in Dubrovnik old city.

Hello,
I am looking to travel from Dubrovnik to Hvar. Are their daily ferries from Dubrovnik to Hvar?
If not are there daily ferries from Split to Hvar?
Approximately how long is the ferry ride from Dubrovnik/Split to Hvar?

You can check all schedules at www.jadrolinija.hr, but note that the main ferry port on Hvar island is Stari Grad. If you don't have a car, there are buses to Hvar town that meet all the ferry arrivals/departures from Stari Grad.
Dubrovnik to Stari Grad takes 6-8 hours, depending on the ferry and what intermediate stops it makes. There are also ferries on Drvenik - Sucuraj route, as well as several ferries per day from Split to Stari Grad. Some ferries from Split even stop in Hvar (town), but it's only for passengers (no cars boarding in Hvar). There are also catamarans from Split (also no cars).
