One of the best places in Croatia
by Laurent_N
Primosten has been on of my most beautiful experiences during my trip in Croatia last year. I especially recommend the restaurant hold by Marko and his French wife on the road that goes from the old town to the earth's border line, it was a fantastic meal ! Also, I appreciated the old wine merchant in the old town with the chairs outside the shop, that was just like being back in the early 20th century, and the wine was good enough to drink again (and again)

(in order to grew anything here you have to dig out the land from the stone....) SORRY THIS ONE IS AVAILABLE ONLY ON CROATIAN - because it's kind of hard to translate....................................................................

Primostenske Uzance
by ana.gsm
Primostenske Uzance = fiesta whose tradition is not long, but its components are all those thing that describes history of Primosten and customs of this area. Motto of this happening is "Skrta zemlja cuva svoje blago", which cannot translate properly but closest would be "stingy land keeps its fortune " - this sentence contains all efforts that people of this area have to put to, metaphoricly speaking, pull out a drop of oliveoil or vine...

Once Island Now Joined To Mainland
by Mikebb
Located on the coast between Trogir and Sibenik the island of Primosten is now connected to the mainland by a bridge and causway. We stopped on the highway for a few minutes for a photo of this beautiful looking small town of 1750 residents. It is a popular resort town with pebble beaches.
