Listening to live Klapa singers. These wonderful harmony groups which sometimes sing with the addition of an instrument or two such as guitar. I find this music emotional and beautiful, it can make you cry or make the hairs stand up on your arms. We sadly did not stumble across some spontaneous singers which we were hoping for but were lucky in finding a group of singers in the square in Makarska - a marvellous setting and incredible singers. Pure enjoyment.

This is the best place on Adriatic coast. If you ever go to Croatia you must visit this paradise on earth. This part of Dalmatia (south Croatia) is called makarska Rivijera and it is far more beautiful than Cote d' Azur

A beautiful small town

I was in this very beautiful and nice croatian town in summer 1998, with 2 penfriends, one of them living there.
There is a big mountain,where this pic is taken on, nice beach,which you can see from the mountain:).
And not too much tourists, not yet then at least....more will come...
