Great Location

We arrived in Split by bus from Plitzvitz and we realised that we didn't have the number or address of the hotel. No one at the bus station seemed to know of the hotel so we went to an internet cafe at the station, went on line and got hold of the address. Turned out the hotel wasn't very far at all and once you get there the first time you won't forget the way. The hotel is very close to the old town and is an fairly touristy area though it wasn't noisy or anything.

We were here on our anniversary so it was supposed to be a bit of a treat but the hotel didn't offer to upgrade us which I guess was a little hopeful thinking. The rooms were fairly small but what you pay for here I guess is the location and the 4 star comforts. The rooms were comfortable and ours had an excellent shower (but no bath). The staff here were undeniably helpful and always wore a smile. Breakfast was a buffet affair while not huge it had enough to keep our bellies full. There is a restaurant and bar here, which we didn't use as we were so close to the town.

All in all this is a good choice. It's not cheap though so try and pay in cash to take advantage of a 12% discount that they offer at the desk. While it wasn't the romantic getaway that we were after it hit all the right spots in every other area so I doubt you'd be dissapointed.
