The Land Gate
by acemj
After crossing the small bridge adjacent to the bus station, I entered into the Old Town through this simple arch known as the Land Gate. Topping the structure is a statue of the town's protector, the 12th century bishop St. John of Trogir. His image can be seen in some paintings in the Cathedral as well.
Karmelego Castle
by aukahkay
Kamerlengo (Gradina Kamerlengo) is a castle and fortress in Trogir. It was built by the Republic of Venice.
The castle was built in the mid-15th century by Marin Radoj as part of an expansion of the Veriga Tower, built on the site in the late 14th century. It is used as a location for performances during the summer months. The word kamerlengo or camerlengo refers to the title of an administrative official (a chamberlain).
Old Town
by solopes
Like almost all the towns in Croatia, the old town is a pleasant mix of classified buildings and commercial locations, turning the walk around in a constant stop and go, to see a detail, buy something, or just have a drink or ice cream.
No time to get bored or tired!

Ulica Cate Dujsin-Ribar, 1887-1994, Slikarica i Pjesniskinja
Street Cate Dujsin-Ribar (Ribar means fisherman but it seems to be a part of his name), 1887-1994, Painter and Poet.
This beautiful house, though standing on Street Cate Dujsin-Ribar, does not seem to be the gallery where is paintings are on show.
On top of the entrance, a coat of arm has an oblique strip with triangles and a lion climbing.
Paradise in little

Trogir is one of my favorurite cities in Croatia. It's small, but it has so much of a charm, that keeps you always comming back. Narrow streets (called 'kale' ) with many restaurants and cafe-bars, lots of tourists, and yachts from all over the world in a marine in city 's center are the main characteristics of this town. Not to forget historical monuments...the city is one big monument and as that is over a protection of UNESCO.
