atm zadar airport

by dougie5419

Can anyone tell me if there is a bank atm in zadar airport and can i get euros from it?

Re: atm zadar airport

I doubt you can get euros from an ATM in Croatia...and wonder why you would wish to do so unless you are moving on to a euro-using country?. The legal currency of Croatia is the kuna. It is always best to use the legal currency of any country.

There is an ATM at the airport:

and you will be able to get euro from an exchange office, should you need to do so.

Thanks for your help.
Going to Medugorje in Bosnia where euros are widely used - you can only get Bosnian currency(convertble marks) in the country itself.I have a taxi to pay in euros at the start of my holiday for the trip to Medugorje.

I used the ATM in Zadar airport a few weeks ago and as far as I remember it was the same as other ATMs in Croatia, i.e. just kuna. There was quite a queue to use it as there seemed to be just the one machine (it's a tiny airport). I don't remember an exchange office being open when I arrived (the last arrival of the evening I think).

Perhaps best to get your euros before you arrive in Zadar, in that case.

Crkva Svetog Krsevana

by croisbeauty

The Church of sv. Krsevan (St. Grysogonus) belongs to Benedictine monastery. It is a characteristic example of a monumental Romanesque church of very fine proportions and decent and refined Romanesque ornaments. The church was built in the place of a former 10th century church and consecrated in 1175. This is the most beautiful church in the town of Zadar, as far as I am concerned.

Ožujsko pivo is a light beer, It has a very pleasant taste, just a little bit bitter but not too much, with a rich flavor. It has been brewed in Zagreb since 1892 by Zagrebačka pivovarna (Zagreb Brewery) and is found in the whole country.

Religious art guarded by Benedictine Nuns

by marktynernyc

Besides St. Donat - the reliquary at Sv. Marija Benedictine monestary is a must see. Stunning religious art beautifully presented - intricate gold and silver work - atmospheric lighting and in the shadows, Benedictine "ninja" nuns at the ready if you try to take a picture. Cost: 20 kn

Roman pillar,

by croisbeauty

The history of the town goes back 3.000 years now. First it was an Ilyrian settlement and then became a part of the Roman empire, when the plan of today's city on peninsula was established.
There are important remains from the Roman time all over the city, this is an pillar which stands next to St. Simon's Church.
