Irena: nice private appartments

There are no camps on Dugi otok (yet) and your next best choice is to rent an appartment in some nice town. We were asking on few different locations but then we decided to stay at Irena's in Božava on the Northern side of Dugi otok as they had beautiful garden behind the house and the price was agreeable for the two rooms and kitchen (and bathroom and living room) we had.

The owners are friendly locals whom are taking care on both their guests and the place, so even if it's alomst 10 years old building, it still looks like new. When we checked in, the smaller appartments were full (the one on photo) but we got 2 room appartment for the price of small one.
Don't need to use tv but in case you'd like to check out news from your end of the world, there's a satellite TV whom had whatever you need in most of languages, including Dhamma TV in Thai, subtitled into English.
The garden has lovely terrace and nice barbecue and it's settled between dry walls and few fruit trees. Lovely place to sit down in the evening or to fry delicious lunch. Just get rid of those mosquitos and you can sip your glass of wine in peace.
It's about 10 min walk to the shop and centre of Božava, and little more if you walk to the beaches which are everywhere around Božava, some really great ones as well with plenty of pine shade and gravel, or rocks.
Appartments are better alternative for hotels, and better alternative for rooms as you can cook yourself - but if that's your style and you don't mind leaving it clean as you got it since there's no housemaids. Anyways, for that kind of lodging and price, this is something normal.
