Hotel VALSABBION

'VALSABBION' - hotel restaurant.

Unique Quality: Hotel Facillities: bar, restaurant, Beauty & Fitness Center. Room Facillities: satellite TV, phone, minibar, hair dryer, air-conditioning.
On the top floor of the hotel there is BEAUTY & FITNESS CENTER where you can find interesting aestethic, medical and fitness programs and the swimming pool/sauna. Wintertime swimming pool water temperature is 28 °C.

Opinion of Price: more expensive than average

Valsabbion Restaurant has been voted the best in ISTRIA since 1995 and the best in CROATIA in 1998, 2000 and 2003.

It has an extraordinary card with nearly every year a very elaborate novel dish from the chef.

We had lobster. It was great as was the wine (a barrique red from Plavac Mali.

We surely will go back to Valsabbion to taste other dishes but we have also Fra-Kat to try... MENU GRAND (fish)

Conclusion :
Valsabbion is expensive but is worth every lipa (no, better, every kuna). I recommand without any hesitation.

On this aerial photography of Pješčana Uvala peninsula, the road from Pula arrives in the middle left, not very easy to see between the villas. Valsabbion Restaurant (look at Restaurants tip) is right to the beach around which are scattered the villas of Pješčana Uvala community.

Good hotel in Pula

Hi!

My girlfriend and I are going to Pula in only two weeks! We will stay for three nights before heading towards Split.

As of now we have not ordered hotel yet, the plan is to have a few recreation days in Pula with sun and swimming. And some sights.... What would be the best option for us regarding a place to stay? About 60-80€ per night would be applicable.

Should we order in advance or is it so easy to get an OK room that we don't need to do that? We will arrive from Venice 12th of July in the evening so its probably smart to have a hotel not far away from the city.

Air Conditioning is a must!

Thx in advance for all good advice!

Any good web sites you would recommend to find a hotel?

We would prefer a smaller typically family driven hotel instead of hotel complexes and mastodonts, but close-by-the-beach overruns that

I can't help you with my personal experiences regarding hotels in Pula, but here is the link to Pula hotels, hope you'll manage to find something.

(Check the area map, some hotels are quite outside the Pula center, but as far as I remember they are all served with public transport).

The best hotel by far is the small, private Valsabbion (http://valsabbion.hr/), which is particularly noted for its restaurant. I suspect its rates will be more than you want to pay, though.

Thx, actually I booked us into a place called Villa Feniks close to this hotel. It more of a private apartment, but looks really nice! Friendly people on the phone as well...
