Hi
we're planning to go to Croatia and now are choosing places to go..
we'd like to find the cheapest accomodation (smth like hostels for €15-20 per night for 1 person) and have found a place in Pula, the area called Veruda - the southern art of the city
but i'm not sure about the quality of the beaches there - i've only seen yachts and big rocks on fotos.. are there any other cheap places in that city? or maybe the Veruda beach is okay and only looks so rocky? :)
thanks!
As far as I know Veruda is a small islet? I know Verudela beach (rocks, concrete, pebbles).
Check out this map:

most of the beaches are rocky in istria. there is a sandy beach at Medulin. its easy to get there by bus from pula. re accomadation, i have an apartment in Peroj, just outside pula,, 1km from the sea, sea views, if its just 2 people i can rent to you for 50 euros for the night, let me know and i will send you some pics of the apartment and local beach
