UMA100/InterChalet & Antonella DeGrassi: Umag's Worst Vacation Rental

Before renting, InterChalet confirmed there was no construction here. Well, just take a look at my Umag travel page for all the gory details. The apartment was located above a restaurant, which conducted construction on Sunday night.
The beach is under construction and you are right at the beach.
There is a third construction site merely two houses away.

The balcony is shared and the view shown on the InterChalet-related site is a PhotoShop masterpiece!
This is the view they show .... compared with ..... This is the reality.

Here is a little more reality as well.

Unique Quality: There was not one outstanding thing about this location. The apartment itself was dark and cramped and cheaply furnished. The one window looked out onto the main street and was therefore loud. The noise from all the construction was very loud in the apartment as well.

The bathroom wasn very small, badly lit, with a bad shower.

The kitchen had a working refrigerator. I guess that's a positive.

Umag is so small and over-touristed, there is really nothing to do except fend off the desperate restaurant owners who try to drag you inside their establishments all afternoon. It is a mass-tourism nightmare.
