As it is a new marina, it has been equipped with an efficient brand new crane that can operate relatively heavy boats and allows the marina to receive and repair this type of boats. Vrsar marina seems to try to catch an upper class type of yachtmen !
Look at this one ! She is tired of the sea and wants to make a little trip inland on this superb motor berth ! I agree, as inland Istria has hidden treasures for those who dare visit and leave the sea for a while.
Local small boats are gathered in this part of the marina, where water is not very shallow, closer to the city. May be this is not technically part of the marina but ''free'' mooring for locals and for boats that need only one or two feet of water.
In late evening, fishing boats, which were anchored in the southern part of the harbor, outside the marina (the marina is on the right of the picture), sail for a night fishing. They will come back early, tomorrow morning, hopefully with a good load of fish !
This inflatable facility is only for the little ones. They can slide from the top without any hazards. Even those who can hardly walk cannot do themselves any harm. It is completely safe. The only problem is that as soon as they have slipped down, they climb on top to do it again and again. There is no way to stop them ! But in the end, parents have to pay following the number of slide !
